Sorry to hear, some members from VA will advise you move to a different state.

For stealth, get the Redline, conceal it and learn to use it wisely.. don't slam your brakes if you get hit by instant on, or any behavior that will raise suspicion that you have a RD, even if not in plain view.

Not sure, from what I've read here company discontinued it, started new model the STi-R Plus which has GPS but only selling it in Canada and Europe, no plans yet on releasing it in the US.

I'm in the same boat, live in VA and want something remote because I've been stopped before because a cop thought what I had on my dash was a radar detector (it wasn't). I'm just trying to find an STi-R somewhere, somehow

Yeah I got owned on I-85 in the middle of no where county 89 in a 70 when I received my reckless driving ticket from that piece of **** state. I refuse to drive in Hellginia, first advice before detectors is move the hell away. Hellginia has the worst speeding laws right behind North Carolina, anything over 80 or 20mph over is reckless driving a criminal offense in VA. If you go over 90, you look at jail time.

Nah they didn't lower it, it's because he was going over 80MPH regardless of the PSL...that said, you can be going 81 in a 70 and get a reckless driving ticket in Hellginia.
