Hey all I am from ct and about to install a 9500ix with the zr4 on my white 2008 mazdaspeed 3 i also got veil to apply as needed hope to learn about laser jamming i have wanted to have a set up like this for some time now. Thanks Garrett

welcome to the forum, good choice on getting a radar detector and laser jammer, most people simply go with just a radar detector at first and think that will be good enough, they learn their lesson real quick.

I should have said this is not my first detector I also have V1 that i have have been using for 4 years now so it is just getting used to the escort which i actually won in a raffle but was gonna buy anyway so i bought the zr4 instead can't wait to get everything installed i ordered veil and the mgt mount can't wait for everything to come on now i just wanna test it all once i put it in

Don't apply the Veil until you have installed and had your ZR4 thoroughly tested by someone with laser guns. Otherwise, you'll have no idea how well it works by itself, which is extremely important. That said, I think you'll find that the ZR4 will be completely ineffective on that car. You need something a lot better to give you a chance against laser.
