Hello from Europe

I have visited this forum as a guest for quite a while, but see more and more european activity, so I have subscribed as a member.

Currently, I'm driving a peugeot 407 SW with a Quintezz Drive Control Pro installed.
There's not so much information about this device in this forum, it is a fitted radar antenna and a separate fitted laser eye in the front, and a GPS device inside the car.

I tried to do some research on Quintezz last year, but didn't have a lot of luck. Everything I found was either in Dutch or some other language I don't speak. It's not available in the US, unless you order from overseas, so we haven't tested it here. What can you tell us about it?

It's an average radardetector against K band radar, but worse against Ka. (Quintezz XT6000) Don't know if the Drive Control is any better with Ka ?

The XT6000 was a popular one in the Netherlands in 2003.

After that, time changes, as well as the police equipment. There is now much more need for K band and Ka band sensitivity.

I love the GPS warning for the fixed camera's. In addition, my radar will tell if the camera is active or not (in case of a fixed camera with Radar. There are also camera's that work on electric loops in the road, this cannot be detected by any detector).

For the mobile cams is sensitivity important, specially on Ka band. The new quintezz does well, the old 6000 doesn't.
