Longtime lurker, just bought a Redline

Hello everyone. Before I go any further I would also like to say thanks for your help over the past couple years! I've been reading posts for quite a while and thought I would check in and say thanks.

My first radar detector was a Cobra Trapshooter in 1987. It detected two bands as I recall and was likely contributed to my first ticket! I heard it go off but didn't really believe it until the trooper came roaring up behind me. He saw the detector and wrote me up. Lesson learned.

The past few years I've been running a 9500i and will probably send it in for the ix upgrade this Fall. In the meantime, I just purchased a Redline. Should be an interesting experience and I'm looking forward to it!

I assume your ticket was in NC, which is where I'm from and got my 1st ticket, North Cackylacky can be a PITA concerning speed enforcement so I know the pain.

I just purchased a Redline. Should be an interesting experience and I'm looking forward to it!

Thanks for the welcome everyone! Redline just arrived today. I swapped out the 9500i from my FJ Cruiser. My wife just hopped into the FJ to pick up groceries so I didn't get to take it out on its maiden voyage!

She isn't into RD's so I doubt she will even notice. Actually she better not notice or she'll kill me!
