    Default Hello from New York

Hi! Just joined the forum to research custom installed radar detectors. I have an Escort 9500ix and an Infiniti G35. I'm thinking of getting the Escort 9500ci but am concerned it might interfere with my car's adaptive/intelligent cruise control and vice versa. I have had no problems with my 9500ix but I've read lots of postings about the V1 having trouble with the Infiniti's adaptive cruise control. Hence, need to research how the 9500ci might behave with ACC beforehand.

    Thanks.

Can you please expand on why you want the 9500ci?

I can only think of two things it will do better than the 9500ix if it were my car.

Welcome, are you from NYC, or the other 95% of it?

I like the 9500ix but am interested in the 9500ci for convenience. No need to constantly mount and unmount the 9500ix. The inconvenience of having to mount and unmount the 9500ix results in me only using it on long car trips. With the 9500ci, I'd be covered all the time even when just driving around town (not that I generally speed in town, but good for security). Laser jammer is good too.

Ummmmm... don't take me wrong but the belscorts are the easiest rd's to take down and put up. Buying a 9500ci for that reason is a complete waste of money. The jammers, do a search of ZR4's.
