Actually, radioshack does sell detectors. They carry the Beltronics 995 and GX65, but mostly lower end whistlers and all sorts of cobras. They do not carry V1's, however. Most detectors are by order online, however. To the OP, if you are going to have to order online, go to www.radarbusters.com and order a good detector. Not sure what is permissible in Malaysia or even the type of technology used to measure speed in Malaysia.

Never buy a RD from Radio Shaft!!! They only sell **** brands like Cobra.

Unfortunately, the Valentine One is not available in any (legitimate) store. If you do find a store that will sell you one, you'll end up paying at least $100 too much to buy it.

What I would do if I were you: wire some money to whoever it is you're visiting in Chicago, and have them order a V1 for you. If you plan it right, your V1 will be waiting for you when you arrive, and you can just carry it back with you in your carry-on bag (not to mention having it available as you drive around The Windy City).

    Hello all,

Thanks for all your responses. I have just got my Visa approved and will be leaving for Chicago on Saturday, Nov 13.
And I also has managed to get my counterpart in Chicago to place the order for the V1 first. But I'm just wondering, how long does it normally takes for the delivery with a normal USPS delivery?. I will be in Chicago for about 2 weeks before leaving for Hawaii, so hopefully it will be there before I'm going back to my country.

    Cheers!

Yes, if they have order it already you should have it about time you get their or shortly after. Congrats on getting your Visa to come to the U.S.A.
