Default new member from albany ny

    Hi all

I recently moved to albany after living in CT all my life. They both seem pretty similar, stationary and rolling Ka, and LTI laser on the highways. I drive an 05 black tahoe and use a Beltronics RX65 and Escort Shifter ZR3. Since I don't have much money I've picked up my stuff pretty cheap, got the RX65 for $145 from some kid in VA who didn't know they were illegal until after he bought it. And got the ZR3 in an unopened box for $200 from someone who was too lazy to install it.

I understand that the ZR3 isn't the best jammer and a Tahoe isn't very stealth. I would like to test this configuration if someone has a lidar gun. Eventually I would like to add a laser interceptor to the mix and sell the tahoe and get a C5 vette. With the flip down lights I feel like the C5s are very stealthy to laser.

I am still slightly skeptical about the LI's performance. I have seen the GOL results and they sound almost too good to be true! but if it can work like that then i gotta have one.

    questions? comments? concerns?

    Thank you

    Rob

You'll get a bunch of others who will chime in here about the LI's vs ZR3... What you read here is pretty much real world stuff, so LIs are the way to go.

Welcome to the forum. You won't have to look very far in here to learn the truth about LI's. Some of our most experienced Lidar enthusiast are their biggest fans. They feel that way because of testing that they have done and real world experience. From what I can seem LI lives up to it's reputation.

There is also a link to a story in here somewhere where they put LI HPs on Radar Roy's RV resulting in Jam To Gun test results!

We might be doing some testing in binghamton tomorrow if the weather holds. I could test your zr3's against my Truspeed.

thank you very much for the offer! binghamton is still 2.5hrs. I might take u up on that offer at another time but ill try to holdout for something closer. The truspeed would be excellent since I have seen it being used in Albany. Also i still frequent CT, so anything there or western mass would be convenient

I have seen that clip, very impressive! did anyone test an HP LI vs a regular LI? and which one was used by GOL? also, do you know of anyone that runs an LI with another jammer at the same time? I would like to still use my ZR3
