New from SWFL

I have been a long time reader, but finally decided to join. I have been sporting a 8500 x50 for about a year and a half, and just upgraded to the Redline. Not totally sold on it yet, but I am still adjusting to the new tones.

It's also time to invest into some good laser jammers, and this is the place to ask questions. I got nailed last year on the Sawgrass Expressway by FHP using Laser Atlanta. The x50 tried it's best to alert me, but it was too late. I managed to scrub about 5 mph off from what he said he clocked me at (97 in a 65 ). Lack of paying attention owned me, especially on a road I wasn't new too. Went to pass a slow car, and ended up in triples.

How do you like living in Ft. Myers? It's on my short list of places I want to move to. Well, anyplace where it doesn't snow is fair game.

I am a transplant from New Jersey, wasn't old enough to remember. Grew up in Cape Coral, and have lived around various parts of Florida for the last 5 years, with Fort Myers taking claim to 3 years straight. I like it a lot. It's quiet enough, yet busy enough to find something to do most of the time. 2 hours max will get you to Tampa or Miami for even larger events. Like any city, it has its good and bad parts. The further south you go in Fort Myers, the nicer is gets.
