    Default Hello from Dallas

Hello everyone. I am new here. I love your passion towards all things not getting a ticket. I have used a V1 since 1999 and I'm fixin to to a LI quad install on a 2007 Impala. I think the front will be much easier than the rear. The only location on the rear I see is right above my license plate, whish may be too low. Any advice would be appreciated. I'll get a pic of my car as soo as I can.

Woodscolby. I notice you have an LI HP. The Hp is almost twice the cost. What advantages would the HP offer me over the regular LI driving around in TX?

The HP is truly meant for larger vehicles but can be a lot more effective than a normal LI against a laser gun at a more extreme angle. If Cliff(The US Distributor) would like to chime in with a bit more detailed summary of the difference then he is welcome to, I'll try and find a post of his summary and quote it. For your vehicle it may protect the rear of the car a bit better than the normal LI but only testing will tell. For most vehicles I would usually say it is not necessary to spend the extra money unless you just like to have the best of the best. I chose to just spend the extra money as I encounter laser on almost a daily basis and have absolutely no worries about laser while I drive.

    Edit:

For most all applications, our standard Laser Interceptor DUAL, for front protection only, or our QUAD, for front and rear protection, will provide more than adequate protection for most passenger cars, small truck and SUVs. The advantage of our HP sensors are that they provide even more protection from wide and high axis shots. The HP models have not one but two Laser Diode Emitting devices per sensor, one vertically polarized and the other horizontally, giving the HP models 40% more "effective" jamming power vs. the standard LI but most importantly, they have a Vertical as well as a Horizontal component (shape) to the beam whilst the standard LI only has a horizontal component so the effect down rage at the police LIDAR Gun is much more effective! Most HP buyers are usually those who simply want the best protection that can be had or owners of oversized vehicles and lighter colored with larger than normal profiles that can benefit from the additional protection provided by our HP models.

I'd say a regular LI quad is enough for your Impala.

What part of the metroplex do you drive through regularly?

Welcome to the forum. LI's are great. The regular LI's should do fine on your car. Good luck.
