I have a cobra XRS 757 that i have had for about 5 yrs now, and the sound stopped working so i ordered a speaker from Cobra and it still has no sound, any suggestions

Yes, throw it in the trash and get a real detector.

Welcome to the forums! However, it's time for an upgrade. How'd it work for you over the years?

Welcome, and I will have to echo what the others have said. Is that Cobra the only detector you have owned? If it is, concider purchasing a Bel/Escort or a V1. Even if you buy a Bel RX65or Escort X50, your jaw will drop at what kind of performance you've been missing out on!

You own a paper weight and Cobra is the reason why all other detectors false on Ka band and k band from leaky Cobras. I would do a heavy upgrade. V1 is a option. You need to tell us what kind of terrain you drive in and city or highways and we can lead you the right way.

OP,
9 out of 10 Radardetector.net members HATE cobra RD's LOL. Also FYI there is a separate cobra section for specific stuff.
