Default Bike rack on rear and ALP rear sensor, and targeting of windshields/rear glass

I have a 2015 Hyundai Santa Fe with a Thule T2 bike rack on the rear. Sometimes bikes are on board, and sometimes the rack is folded up. Either way, there is not a clear shot of my license plate in the rear. The rack is not very reflective, mostly old faded gray paint. So would it be something that is naturally hard to target, or would they just aim for my rear window or taillights? If I were to pursue rear protection, where would I put any sensors so that they would be effective and not blocked by my own bike rack?

Related question: Can cops effectively target the windshield or back window of a vehicle (since it's very reflective)? I've only ever seen sensors installed in grills, and I assume that is because an officer has to target a vertical surface to get a signal back. Windshields are angled back, so may not be good unless targeted from above. But the back window on SUV's is vertical. So, if windshields and back windows can be targets, how would you protect them?

I can answer all of your questions, but I'm not willing to Post answers in a Public viewable Thread that could help educate LEO's to become even more proficient in their trade than they are !

Thanks, I have attempted to post a private message twice, but nothing shows up in my Sent Items, so I don't know if you got them or not. Please let me know if it's "not". Again, thanks!

Yep, I got 'em & will answer.
You probably havn't enabled "save Sent Items History" in your preferences settings, that is why you don't see them.
