Does the Laser Interceptor have a kill switch?

Well since it hasn't been asked (to my knowledge), I want to know if the LI has a kill switch for those situations where you need to shut off the jammer? GOL?

If it doesn't have a kill switch per se, you can wire one in easily enough. You should have a power switch in the circuit anyway so you can turn off the jammer when desired. That would be your "kill switch".

So basically you'd have to wire one yourself if you wanted it?

On the prototype we tested there was a Power switch and the speaker was integrated into the control box but the production units will come with the same integrated speaker and have an external speaker hook up we have been told and i believe was posted here earlier

he said if it was to not have a kill switch. I'm sure with the massive list of features the LI will have a switch. Its supposed to be PC programmable as well so you can easily change all your jamming settings with a visual interface.

sure there is a switch.. :-) switch with integrated led wich is flashing when jamming is active...

Hmm, would that make it upgradable to new threats?

Just think if you invested in such a fine peice of equipment and then laser atlanta came out with a new gun that beat it

Yup, its all about the pulse rates download the new programming and you're covered.

Any idea when you're gonna be up and running to take orders?

Just that I'm getting my new car next week and it wont be protected so rather than shelling out for an old school jammer, I'd rather try out "Ivan's Best"

yeah but those old school ALs or LPP work great for jamming laser....

Lets wait until retail version is tested. I remember seeing the AL prototype perform perfectly at the August 05 event and then the production unit howed punchthroughs
