Wow. My jaw just dropped to the floor :shock:You can easily jam F-16s, MIG-29s and others. Nice install.
Jeez... you could cook a hot dog with all that up front infrared
- Thanks, guys.
The problem is now whether or not I actually gain any significant advantage with the multiple-jammer setup, as well as if potential performance-decreasing cross-talk could exist.
That, of course, will require some quantitative testing!
Wow, that's alot of stuff in the front. You do have stuff in the back, right? (Besides the ZR3)
In terms of stealthiness, my guess is you're somewhere between RacerX and happya$$.![]()
Currently, the back is my biggest weak-point. It's still the same configuration as I've posted here and on the LPP Support Forums a while ago :arrow:Originally Posted by ELVATO
The only thing back there is my ZR3 (yellow highlight, mounted at the base of the rear plate) and one lone LPP head (red highlight, mounted atop rear plate).
Both protect center-mass/plate.
The LPP is at slight bubble-positive, to hoepfully better capture overpass/elevated on-ramp scenarios. The ZR3 is significantly more bubble-positive, again for the same (however, again, as with the front ZR3s, they're not my primary jammer - I rely on them more for detecting the direction of the incoming LIDAR threat, so this is a compromise I'm willing to make).
Unfortunately, I do have two rather large and widely-spaced tail-light housings, and they're, relatively-speaking, "un-dressed" in terms of passive protection.
I have yet to see any rear-on enforcement in my area, however, I do plan to upgrade my LI setup with the addition of dual ultraslim heads back there, within the next month or two.
At that time, those will be placed at the farthest edges of my rear license-plate cut-out, which should hopefully offer enough capture to secure my rear-end. They'll be true zero-bubble, to hopefully effect best all-around protection. At that point, again, the LPP well become second-line defense in a manner exactly as which I've posted above.

Not even close - I lack the all-important LE-10. Here in NE-Ohio, a brute-force jammer would be useful. Both of these guys have LE-10s in their arsenal, so I'm nowhere near that level.
Besides, there's no need for stealth when one doesn't really speed!ops: I drive like an old man.

Just two weekends ago, although my LPPs got a work-out, I had already reduced to-PSL by the time the enforcer even began lasering the traffic that was, at the time, blowing by me (with, of course, their tail-lights blaring from their braking attempts). And that was on the highway, where I actually do sometimes speed - around town, I truly barely crack the PSL. My daily commute just isn't worth the hassle.
