help with wierd messages from LI

i just installed a li with dual heads on my car and im getting some voice messages i cant quite make out.

fist is "........something laser proceed with caution" cant make out the begining of the phrase anyone know what its saying?

secod is "2 of 4 heads front or rear ........" cant make out the rest???

anyone else had these messages? is there a list of alerts that come from the li anywhere?


Lastly...anyone in new england..boston area want to meet up and help me test the system? beers and lunch on me!

when driving to low sun it says "intereference from sun is detected please proceed with caution"..

other message i asume is "connections to sensor 1,2,3,4 are poor or bad" ..

this should be anounced when you plug out sensors from CPU...

i heard it a few more times and it says something about 2 connections are poor or bad...thing is only have 2 heads connected and i did a quick test using my stereo remote and they both picked up the signal and went into jamming mode so i dont think there is anythign wrong with the two heads i have installed. If this is the case it means that the error message is coming from the 2 ports i dont have anything installed in which is very annoying. Any comments?

if cpu is enabled for 4 heads, then yes...

you can test this easy..

plug out all sensors, take just one, an plug it in in port 1. turn on your device,..
if voice says connection to port 2,3,4 are poor or bad, you have a 4sensor enabled cpu box, if not then just make sure you plug in your sensors in port 1 and port 2, an leave 3 and 4 empty.

if you need to reporgam your device to 2 port`s only PM me and i will give you a download location for beta software so with minimal knowlage of using com port you will be bale to reprogram it..

Can I add 2 more heads to a 2 sensor enabled CPU control box without reprogramming it for 4 ports or does it have to be reprogrammed for the additional 2 sensors?

yes you can...

cpu box will nor report then eventual bad connections or head failure, but they will be fully functional.

to enable 4 head startup diagnostic on all ports, cpu must be reprogramed..

Thank you! A little O/T but are the newer, slimmer heads designed specifically for the rear and therefor are better in that area than the original, larger heads?
