    Default LI HP units

Whats the point of these if the regular units perform that well. Also, when did they get so expensive

The LI HP LE are designed for oversize vehicles such as Motor-homes, Semis, Buses and vehicles that have similar frontal profiles, are overly reflective or for those who desire overkill. For 99% of the applications, the standard LI DUAL or QUAD are sufficient.

I'm planning a system for my Nissan GT-R this spring and am debating between the 2 head LI HP, 2 head standard, or 4 head standard, to cover me front and rear.

Opinions for what a car this size needs for decent protection Cliff?

    Hi GTR,

Nice ride! The standard LI QUAD will provide more than adequate front and rear protection for your application especially with the low frontal profile of the GTR. The LI HP LE would be over-kill in my opinion and the standard LI DUAL is designed only for frontal protection as is the LI HP LE DUAL.

Yea, I have been waiting for this car by entire life. Finally got my wife out of anethesia school and will be pulling the trigger this spring.

What finding mounting room for 2 front & rear at a reasonable distance apart is an issue; could I get by w/ the 2 head HP version: 1 front/1 rear?

Congrats to the both of you!

If you can fit one sensor, you can easily fit two, one at each location on each side. The problem with just one center mounted sensor is providing adequate protection to the headlights even with the LI HP LE which is why we recommended no less than two sensors for all applications. We will gladly sell you an LI HP LE DUAL but we cannot guarantee JTFG performance with only one sensor fore and aft!

    Here are my recommendations.
