Question for LI Users!!!

Hey guys,

I received my LI Quad from Cliff on Saturday (quick shipping BTW) and today I opened them for the first time and noticed that ALL of the heads had some scratches/"glue" residue on the transmitter and this gray round scratch by the receiving bubble. I tried to take a picture of it but it's really hard to get it on camera. Anyone else got their LI heads this way? Will it affect performance? Is this pretty much standard? Thanks!

Never seen them like that on the cars that we've tested today...
does the round snatch appear in all of the heads?
Are the Ver. 7.07 the newest?

BTW take better pics next time

I know the pics suck but that's the only way it'll show up on camera. I really tried to take clear pictures but those didn't show the scratches. Believe it or not, these were the best 3 out of 10

Yes they appear on ALL 4 heads

My heads are the same. It will not affect performance. Due to the receiving diode bubble and transmitting diode is on the other side. Everything is A ok

You may need a tripod to get a good one. Looks like you were holding the lens with one hand and holding the camera on the other hand. This can cause blurring of the images because of subtle movements. Your LI should be okey.

The minor surface scratches on the Sensor Masks are a normal part of the production process of the plastic IR Composite that the Sensors Masks are made of and will not affect their operation. Indeed, as they are installed in one's grill where they are exposed to rocks, road salt, sand and other road debris which is expected during their life and will cause additional artifacts in the protective masks which again, have no affect on performance whatsoever.

mine came that way but they can still JTG even when they are dirty.

Should be just fine.

None of my jammer heads - not from LPP, not from Escort, even - arrived "perfect," all showed those kinds of blemishes.
