LI Ordered!

Well I just sold my SRX and I ordered an LI dual for my C6 Corvette. The ZR3 performed pretty good in my tests but I'm seeing more and more staties running speed traps along with more local PD's getting LIDAR guns. I wanted something with nearly 100% coverage in all situations. I'll be ordering some rear heads soon as well.

Good purchase, I would also recommend an external speaker for it.

You'll be happy, talk to Category4 about installing, he's got the same car/setup.

Well there are not too many options on a vette. Here is a pic of my current SRX install which is coming out tonight. The heads are a little bit close. I'm going to put the LI heads closer to the outside of the grill. I don't have rear heads yet......

Yea, the only reason why the ZR3's were installed that way was so the plate wouldn't block them when it was flipped up. But I NEVER run with the front plate up, its only displayed for inspections and when pulled over. So now I don't care if the plate blocks it.

So I shipped out my SRX yesterday and the LI arrived today! I installed it tonight but I didn't finish until it was dark so no pics yet. Everything went very smooth during the install. I'm going to get some small external speaker, I could really use it. If I have the top off and the radio up I definately won't hear it.

I used a cable box remote to trigger the jammer and I had an IR sensitive camera to observe the heads firing. WOW are those things bright compared to the SRX ZR3 heads. I can't wait to test it out with a gun at some point.

The level of customer service from Cliff at LI is amazing. I mean he e-mails me back within 5 minutes or less, it is unreal! Very happy so far, the final conclusion will be when I test it out!
