What Generation to Purchase

Its about time for me to upgrade from my ZR3's to something LI. Hahaha.

Anyways, I have a 2008 Mustang GT.

I currently run all 3 of my ZR3 jammers on the front of the vehicle. 1 on the license plate and the other 2 near my fog lights. The performance of the current jammer is JTG on Center Mass, but as the LIDAR is aimed near the bottom right and left of the front of my car, i get some PTs.

Cash is a struggle as I'm a college student, so I was looking at LI's website. They have some 6.22T and 7.11 versions left over. They are selling these at a fraction of the cost of a new LI system. If i'm gonna use this is texas should i just get the 6.22T's?

Also I'm worried that if I get the LI system my reception on the license plate wont be good. Will moving to the LIs be a good move?

Even the 6.22 will give you good protection, much better than the zr3's

Get the dual 8 on sale and an external Escort speaker so you can hear the alerts.

the 6.22T is definitely good but with the latest gen 8 for like 540 I'd spend the extra 90$

At 550, why wouldn't you get the best? The Gen8 can update unlike the older LIs.

I'm running old 6.22Ts and have had many saves. Here's some testing results on my CTS:

My head placement isn't exactly optimal...

Word is that the old 6.22s don't have some of the newer euro gun tables which means less falsing in the US. I've never had a false with my LI. When it alarms I'm being targeted Even those infinitys that set off my V1 and stir don't phase it.

I'd say go with the latest/greatest if you can stomach the price...

I didn't not have falsing on My LI 8 since I've got it. Not even from the sun.
