just curious...
It'd be nice if it did, in retaliation for triggering laser alerts on my detector....
like cause it to knock it out of cruise control mode or something.

No, it does not.
Cliff
It would be cool if it did, but I doubt it does.
Laser jammers jam the ability of lidar guns to read speeds. Infiniti LCC system measures distances and responds based on those.
I suppose jamming it, if indeed possible, could kick it out of cruise, or at least cause the cruise to reduce speed. But I haven't heard of any instances of this happening.
It would be cool if jamming it (say with rear jammer heads, driving in front of one) could cause it to speed up and rear-end your car. The accident would be their fault, their insurance would have to pay for the damage, and it would get one LCC system off the road, at least for a while.![]()
If I'm passing you on the right, YOU are in the wrong lane!
If speed kills, how come I'm still alive?

OK, so in defense of MI INFINITI, and the ICC (Intelligent Cruise Control). I finally finished the permanent install of the LI Dual front and drove from DC to NYC this past weekend. I didn't have any laser encounters that I'm aware of, as my BEL STI Driver didn't alert for laser on this trip.
I got some falses (unknown gun) on the LI when in heavy traffic at highway speeds and close following distances, and couldn't determine the root cause. I looked at the cars and trucks around me and didn't see a pattern. I would like to get to the bottom of the falses. Before the permanent install, I made the trip weeks before with 1HP head tie-wrapped in the center of my grill, without 1 false alert.
On both trips, I used my ICC for the entire 600 mile round trip. On this trip, both the STI Driver and the LI Duals appeared to work well. This is in sharp contrast to the V1 I purchased before the LI Install. The V1 falsed to laser at every overpass and large highway sign caused, I'm sure, by my ICC. It was maddening.
Also. Cliff's customer service is the best of any company, hands down. I swear he never sleeps, do you Cliff? LOL
We exchanged emails past midnight eastern time. I actually was in a a bind late one night and 'had' to call him for install advice. Cliff continues to be courteous, helpful, and professional. He's easy to deal with, honest, and it's like doing business with a friend.
If you're on the fence about which unit to buy, it's a no-brainer, as all the LI users know. BUY LASER INTERCEPTOR. I too was on the fence, and happy I made the LI choice. The heads are small, the customer service is unparalleled.
The shipments are made instantly, and if you need any advice, or support, your questions are immediately answered.
So does IRCC interfere with police lidar?
