First LI Hit!

Sorry, no video, but it would have been a good one.

As I pop over a small hill, I see a CHP car sitting perpendicular to the road, as my LI and V1 start alerting like crazy. He was only about 300ft away when they started alerting. I slowed it down, shut it off, and drove on by like nothing happened. I felt kinda ****ty though because since it was such short range, I barely had any time to kill the jammer. I was going about 17+PSL when I was hit and I killed the jammer at about 5+PSL. I just wish the alert was louder on the LI, but with the V1 alerting too it was easy to hear.

Now I already feel like the LI has paid for itself with this 1 save. I had the LI curse for about 5 months, but now my LI's cherry has been popped.

nice save! Seems that you will need an external speaker to hear the alert. Get it from Radio Shack, pretty cheap and hook it up. It will be loud as hell

Its possible the LI would have sounded louder if the V1 wasn't alerting. My Redline drowns out my LI most of the time when it goes off.

Good save, 300ft is ambush-style, don't feel shi*ty feel good - a lot of setups on this forum wouldn't have survived that.

I remember the 1st time my LI went off and it scared the living crap out of me. The LEO tried to tag me at about 600-700' so I did have a little bit more reaction time to JTK and the LEO was also using a PL3, so it was a little bit easier to Jam.

Good on ya for the LI it's a beast of an Jammer. Also gives you a little more "breathing" room when you driving a "little" over the PSL.
