I think one of the two should have said... just because it is "eye safe" does not mean that you should look into it continually when it is jamming... I mean really sure they are "safe", but for the noobs out there... this does not mean look at them like your favorite *fap, fap* magazine.

I'm kind of curious about the Class 1 laser classification it received. Is there public documentation available? Co-workers have told me that pulsing a laser is also just as dangerous, so I'm wondering if the LI was tested as a final finished product, or just the diode used in the heads was tested. I'm by no means an optics expert, so I'm not trying to discredit LI or Cliff.

The testing done as per CDRH and the product report filed with the FDA was on the latest Generation 8 Laser Interceptor as a functioning complete unit. It is Class I, Eye Safe.
