unknown gun

My knew LI has started giving me the unknown gun alarm. Seemed to be working fine then after about 4 hours of driving the alarm started periodicly becoming more and more often then almost continues. I shut the unit off for about 2hours the sun went down, turned the unit back on and drove home without any further warnings. Any ideas as to whats up.

Was an Infiniti in the area?

Their LCC system will cause unknown gun alerts?

no infinity and this was going on over about a 10 mile distance.
