New set of LI's for me!

I finally broke down and bought a set of LI duels for my TL. I currently have my ZR4's in the upper grill area and was thinking of putting them in the lower portion of my bumper and putting the LI's where they were.

My thought is to run them both for guaranteed protection/alert and for some east coast testing of different brands. But will make sure they don't mess with each other if i ever run them together.


One question, what in the world does this mean:

Selectable Timed Jamming Capabilities and V1™ RADAR Voice Alerts Interface.

The V1 option gives the LI CPU voice of the V1 (ka, k, x) and can't be muted.

Well though it would be cool to have V1 band voice alerts, if it cant be muted its useless to me. Thanks for the head up.


I figure the LI will do very well with my car, cant wait to test them out.

Can you put the shifters to receive only mode, or will that still interfere?

I'd leave the Zr4 on just turn off the jamming mode so you know if its coming from the front or the rear

I have LIs and a 9500ci. I use the ZR4s in receive mode only.

Yes, i will most likley put the shifters to receive only mode until i conferm they dont interfear having them both on.

Receave mode wont interfear.

I run the same setup, except my LIs are version 7.11. I used to run the ZR4 in recieve, but in the end I switched it off because I got tired of having so many false alerts. The LIs also give a lot of false alerts. Where I live both false every day, but by switching off the ZR4 at least I halfed the falses.
