2007 Camry Grille Challenge

Hi everyone,

I have the LI installed on the front of the Camry, but am planning (if the effing sun ever comes out) on removing the front bumper and grille and improving the install. As of now they are 3M taped onto the grille in the third slots up from the bottom. Unfortunately, that does not yield optimum angular mounting.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how best to mount these so they will be level on a slanted grille? I have seen references to a mount plate, but my system did not come with them. Also, should the receiver, or transmitter side of the heads be closer to the headlights?
