Default Anti-Laser upgrades will cost you hundreds of dollars?! WTF

Anti-Laser was kind enough to send a couple units to the GoL, however they're NOT even the AL6.5(Laser Pro Park)!!!! Anti-laser seems to have a new revision number every week and I think it's ridiculous how the 6.5 isn't tested since this unit has been in production.

Anti-Laser said in the beginning upgrades would be available by a USB connection to your computer. That was a LIE.

My question to all the Laser Pro Park owners is how much are you willing to spend to keep on sending your units back to Croatia to have all these "new" revision number upgrades? I mean if Anti-Laser has a new rev. # as frequently as it does maybe you should consider the upgrade cost factor in with the product.

If the Anti-Laser does poorly on the GoL test they can always come out with another revision number a week later. AL 7.2003484775685 anyone? I feel sorry for all the AL6.5 owners that got shafted for not having a test done on the product they bought.....or should I say I feel sorry for the people who actually paid for their units  Come to think about it I don't feel sorry at all because people didn't wait for the GoL.

But didn't GOL or some members of GOL do a pretest of the AL6.5 and it was shown it worked pretty dam well. For what its worth, I thin kthe melt down AntiLaser had and different people one up each other, is all that it is.

We tested one AL 6.5 on StealthJamals car today against the Stalker LZ 1 and it got an avg of 67 feet!!!!! That is insane. On a bright silver car with good size headlights.

I heard some numbers on the "pretest", which I can't comment on because it's not "official." This is why I really wanted to see the 6.5 tested.

How many feet away from the side of the road were you or did you shoot from the center of the street?

This is like the first of you mentioning this when everyone on the board was saying the al6.5 and the pro park were the same.

By all means if you can show me a post where you said you had an AL7 before it was annouced by Steve I would appologize for the oversight.

Hey JTW I'm not taking sides but at least they have a product!!!

What about DS and all his promises???

I believe alot of forum members have been taken for a big ride lately with all the BS that has been flying around.

I think it's time to set the record straight about who has a working product and who is still living in dreamland.

The way I look at it is the same way I look at a Valentine One upgrade. I like the fact that they are striving for perfection just like VR, Bel, Escort, etc.

That would be a very interesting development if the LPP folks have bought is a AL7.
