yes or no?
i live in CA and have never once been hit by laser but they DO use it in select areas. i talked to a CHP officer (california highway patrol) and he said that they WERE in the process of getting laser guns....no time table or what guns but that they were getting em. So here is my question, should i get a jammer to be ahead of the curve to not be caught off guard, or wait until i actually get hit?

But you have been told that lidar equipment is coming soon, So get it before you get a ticket, and everytime it alerts consider that spare money!!
Not a bad idea for saving money, everytime your detector or jammer registers a hit and a save from a ticket. Deposit the estimated cost of that ticket into an IRA, or a christmas account.
But it has to be a save from a ticket to be fair to yourself.
Maybe you could split the profits with the wife to keep her off your back for spending $500.00 on a jammer or detector.
But, what is the penalty if your caught with a jammer in CA?
i heard somewhere that they might confiscate it.....................i dont know cuz im in Texas
How would they do that? The cop comes out with a pair of wire cutters and a screw driver?
haha, another question you should be asking. do you only drive in your home town? what about the neighboring states / counties?
