Any Way to protect laser jammer on front plate?

[90/17=SCAM]

All it takes is one idiot to ram ur car in a parking lot, and the laser jammer is crunched. I want to make a protective metal barrier to fit on the unit with an opening for the laser eye part.

I also want to integrate a generic black plate frame so the jammer stands out less. It can pass for one of those toll paying decoders.

Any ideas?
