I know it preformed great against the laser atlanta but what have you seen it tested against and how well? are there any vid's against other laser guns?

The laser mimic that Chris had was boosted or one of the nad picked ones from the factory cause it actually worked. Chris awhile ago made videos showing it's jammer performance so the retailers could use the video to show how good their jammers was...UNFORTUNATELY all the laser mimics produces and sold to the public performance was horrible and they didn't work most of the time.
The blinder always seems to get JTG and perform very very well when it's tested by SML and people who sell them, yet when the blinder is tested by third parties it always does much worse. These same people who said the blinder did awesome said the mimic did crappy and the people who have witnessed teh mimic do well in third party testing have seen the mimic perform well.Originally Posted by crazyVOLVOrob
Was the mimic level at SML? Can you really trust people associated and paid by blinder to set up competitor products?
Lets pretend teh laser mimic's LED's were over powered. LED's operate at like 500 mW. Jimbonz will tell you there is not a whole lot farther these things can be pushed w/o breaking. I've had my laser mimic forever, have tested it alot, and they have never burnt out. I'd shot them for over 1 minute at a time to try and burn them out and they didn't. Lets say the LED's were over driven to 750 mW per LED, making the entire jammer head 6000 mW or 6W. 6W is peanuts compared to diode jammers, ranging from 45W to 75W. The Lidatek does crappy and it's single transponder is 4X the power of two laser mimic heads put together.
The mimic didn't even produce jam codes and the blinder does. Is the mimic really a cheap knock off if it doesn't set off jam codes when blinder does? Things that make you go hmmmm. To bad the laser mimic isn't sold anymore, otherwise it would be a great jammer for other third parties to test out. Sethy said his blinder M40 was put to crap with teh laser atlanta and he even had Veil and a shield on a car his car. My laser mimic has been witnessed to JTG the laser atlanta many times by 3 different members on this board.
The point is I don't think it's fair to say the mimic is really that bad when the only people who have seen poor performance out of it were blinder testers and/or people who have been paid by blinder.

Well I will agree with JTW, since I did witness the Laser mimic give off any jam codes to the laser atlanta at anytime and it did JTG also from 2000 FT. This is my only experience with laser jammers also and seeing one in action also.
[quote="JTW"]Maybe I've got this wrong but... isn't the Laser Mimic the same thing as the Snooper 950x (which is still sold in the UK if you want one), or the Oz Ninja (AKA Attowave), with the deheaded version being the Microfuzion laser detector?Originally Posted by crazyVOLVOrob
Regarding the Blinder connection, isn't the Snooper 920x (previous version of the 950x), the Blinder M10 in another box and according to some doesn't give jam codes.
God, this is confusing.
Chris the laser mimic didn't even alert to the guns half the time. And if you have questions about the mounting ask Sethy! He was one of the guys that mounted/installed all the jammers on the cars

my last post, I mistyped and meant to say the laser mimic did not produce any jam codes to the laser atlanta.
