Default Jenoptik Laserpatrol - offer to purchase

I would like to purchase the latest production Laserpatrol (October/November version) with the latest firmware.

I would like to conduct testing on the AL G8 and the Blinder. I beleive that this gun still throws error codes on these jammers.

Go.Mouse, RacerX, GOL... have you got access to this gun with the latest firmware? If so, please test it against all new jammers... i.e Blinder, AL G8, LPP, Laser interceptor.

We have realised that beating a laser gun isn't difficult, but beating the error codes on most guns is where the products on sale will differentiate them from each other.

This information would be appreciated by all on this forum.

Jenoptik laser patrol's are sooooo expensive. Not only are they expensive in general, but you have to deal with the euro dollar conversion rate as well that makes it even worse :-(

If they are using this gun mainly in your area, will cost be an issue? And are you willing to risk not knowing that your jammer successfully jams and does not give error codes? Ask yourself that JTW....

    anjoem -

Most of us are in North America and we don't have LaserPatrol in use. It is not very likely that any of us would try to obtain this gun for testing. We have Stalker E04 and Laser Atlanta JA-code to worry about already . I think you might have a better chance asking jammer manufacturers in Europe or distributor/retailers. Hope you can get one for testing. Good luck.

The Jenoptic is over $7,500.00 the last time I checked and it's a gun that will never be in the USA because it violates LTI's patents. This is why you don't see new companies getting into the lidar business because LTI leases out the rights in the states. I know this because I tried to become a dealer of the Laser Patrol's and they refused to even sell me a sample because a single sale inside the USA would leave them liable to many legal problems.

You asked would cost be an issue if it was mainly used in my area? Even if it was a threat I don't just magically make money, so yes it would be an issue for us to come up with over 7.5k(not incl cust. fees.)

    JTW
