    Default turning off the blinder.

So i have been reading the forum on laser jamming because i am thinking of hooking my car up with one. but throughout the posts people talk about slowing down and then shutting off there jammer how does that work. doesnt it look suspicious if you slow down by 5-10 mph and then all of a sudden the leo gets a reading wouldnt that make them want to pull you over to see whats up, im not saying cops are smart enough to think you have a jammer but there Curious like little kittens. second are laser jammer illegal in iowa.

Most laser jammers have a time limit for jamming and some have mute buttons you press to disable it for a period of time, Its wise obviously if laser jammers are illegal in your area to immediately heed the laser warning and adjust your speed safely and disable the device... The LEO would probably go with the visual estimate of your speed and hit you and get a nice pause in the reading then see the total opposite MPH he visually estimated you at, and have to suffice with the reading he obtained which would leave him in disbelief... just dont go 100 in a 65 and expect the drop in visual vs. lasered reading not raise a flag.

drove though Iowa on I-80 twice and saw no laser PLUS "Laser Jammers and Radar Jammers are illegal in the states of Nebraska, Minnesota, Utah, California, Oklahoma, Virginia, Colorado, Illinois and Washington DC." NOT Iowa

And believe me it doesn't look supicious at all other wise alot of us would be pulled over and most likely not use jammers

Since you asked about turning off the jammer all you do is flip the power switch...easy as that 8)

A part of what works to our advantage in using the jammers is that LIDAR guns will give various error-readings to their operators for reasons that are not jamming-related.

Like many of the above enthusiasts recommended, just don't go crazy with your speeding or slowing fast enough to seem like a parachute's deployed behind you , and typically, even if the initial "jam code" or other error code may raise the frustration level of the enforcer and/or make him go "huh?" it still won't give him enough reason to pull you over.
