Default Benz AMG 55 w/Bel Rx75pp REVIEW my custom installation

I'd like to know if the placement of my jammer heads is acceptable. The two front heads are aprox. 14-15 inches from the headlights, and 8-9 inches from the front lic plate. What about if I put one of those lidar absorbers over my front license plate? Do they work? Car is insanely fast (completely melts back tires) and I refuse to be caught slippn. Forum members please advise, thanks.

The front jammer head looks a bit too low. I would actually move the "plate bar" to the front if rear-laser isn't a threat in MN.

Yes they do occasionally enjoy sittting on entrance ramps shooting motorists in the a$$. So yes I feel somewhat protected with the rear blocker in tact. Question is exactly how critical is the 18 inch plate/headlight threshold in this regard??

I've tested Palut's Zr3 with the rear-head in the back of his black accord. It practically didn't do anything -- Punchthrough all the way.

Thanks for the info. I've seen that video and it looks like the lidar gun was positioned very close to the subject, not to mention he also got his punchthrough readings on the unprotected taillight. I'm hoping that I'd for damnd sure see a LEo shooting at me from that closeup, otherwise I'll just hope he's aiming from far enough back for the one rear head to be effective; for instance him shooting from an entrance ramp as I pass or something. Hmm?

I was getting readings from 150 ft to 1800 ft. So basically you can be targeted at any distance and not jam for long enough. Ask Palut as he has received rear lidar tickets with the zr3 rear head installed. Maybe he can share some insight.

I agree with go.mouse you are better off moving the rear head up front!!!

^ Rear head up front, +1.

Use it to selectively protected your front plate, and then reposition your front two heads higher up to protect your vulnerable headlights.

    Nice ride!
