Truth can be painfull to the wallet ...

Sometimes corporate interests do not coincide with consumer's interests.

GOL are to be trusted , encouraged , and applaused ...there are no corporate interests with them .

    I trust them 100 %.

    JammersGate ...

    Bob,
My friend I have to disagree with what you're trying to say and we have spoken about this countless times on the phone.

Never has GoL as a group said anything about anyones products "sucking"

Perhaps the individual's comment about "product a and b suck" are a bit overboard and unwarranted and I feel that your (or my) feed back to that individual would be warranted as a violation of the rules of the board under "constructive comments"

    Lets chill out!!!
If you have seen it's performance like I have and you are honest then it is NOT unwarranted.

If so, you guys would be well-advised to rethink your position as "authorities" in this industry.

Somewhere along the line, you guys of have lost your way...and it's darn shame to see this.

    Veil Guy
The only one who has lost his way in this thread is YOU.

You’re an admin here who can’t even lead by example.

GOL doesn't have, nor has ever had any "official position"
GOL comprises of a bunch of enthusiasts with a common interest, which is testing and using the latest countermeasures out there.
GOL then publicizes their results for everyone to see and enjoy.
As do many other individuals, in or out of GOL, or any other group of enthusiasts.

It’s good that people like that are around, since we all know that manufacturers tend to have outrageous videos showing there product to be the “best” in the industry, working 100%, when we ALL know that isn’t the case.

Just because someone is a member of a group with a name doesn’t mean they should no longer have a personal opinion.
It’s good to see individuals with their own opinion doing tests and coming up with the results.
No one here wants to use a product that doesn’t work well, or as advertised.

we as consumers need guys like GOL, and all the other groups and individuals out there, to keep the manufacturers on their toes and honest.

It’s pretty sad you would even say something like that……………. :?
Ya... It's even interesting to see GOL members happya$$ and stealthjamal jamming at each other with their opinions. I don't know which of the 2 made some PT's.

How do the Korean products compare in performance to the originals. Heck, they make great cars now...

    Wow, Drama Deluxe.

I am not taking a stance with or against Veilguy as I have nothing against him. I support the GOL and think its only logical that each member will have their own opinion of what works and what doesn't work. As far as i can recall, the GOl never did release an offical "stance" on any issue. Just look at the discussion of various tests results from the GOL and you will see this first hand.

However, the many of the independent videos i Have seen (many made by members which were banned from this forum), GOL test resuls, and member attestations show the LPP is one of the best out there. We know the AL and the LPP are virtually the same (although some people "claim" the LPP firmware is better now). Many other videos have shown the blinder does not perform as well. Its not suprise though since one is led and the new diode based technologies perform better. I am still waiting to see about the Laser interceptor. It looks like a good idea but will it ever develop into a real product?

I don't claim to be an expert at all on this stuff. I try to read and learn as much as I can. Most people here are much more knowledgeable on jammers than I ever will be.

Let me say this, my next purchase would be an LPP without a shadow of a doubt over a Blinder, Escort, or any other product. The AL is equally good but may lack the customer service that KMPH gives with the LPP.

time and time again, the LPP seems to show without hype or anything else that it dominates (with the exception of the LA in normal mode). Its proven performance has been extensively documented.

Even though I have only been here a short time, I know there is a lot of drama that has taken place here over the years. Members banned because they didnt agree with certain people, hidden business prospects, moderators that had privileges removed, and so on.

I continue to come here to learn, exchange info, and enjoy the unusual little hobby I have come to love.

    One more thing:

Its often very confusing in here. It seems like certain members have been "blacklisted" by the majority or have received certain reputations.

I'm often wondering, hmm, should I even consider what this person is saying or are they posting BS. However, I dont discredit them just because one person said they are wrong, colluding with someone in here, etc.

But at times its hard to decipher the truth or lack there of.

does anyone else notice this trend or feel like that at times?

I guess this may apply to newer members.

Anymore I read all I can and try to make the best decision with the information I have. This industry has always been a strange combination of smoke and mirror marketing tricks.

I applaud the GOL team and hope they can avoid the corruption that seems to plague this hobby. I can honestly say I would worry about the legitimacy of GOL if they ALL where in 100% agreement. I am glad to see varying opinions among the different members!

Believe who you want but generally speaking a person who isn't selling a product is giving you the truth
