Doesnt quite work like that.
The beam on the jammers is quite wide and can actually jam a LEO shooting from an overpass too.
The problems with slamming on your brakes and nose diving the car comes from alerting the officer that you are aware you are being shot. In some places where jammers and detectors are illegal this is enough to get you pulled over and your car searched.
Its best to slow down quickly...preferably not to nose dive it. Gearing down works well so long as you have a good jammer that can buy you enough time to slow down like that.
And ALWAYS shut the jammer off when you get to PSL
JTG is stupid...and you are just asking for trouble not to mention causing needless heat that will see jammers getting outlawed much faster.
I think they will be outlawed everywhere one day, but for now where they are still legal lets let people enjoy them a bit longer.
