Default AL vs LI: Round 1

Well, here' my first comparison of the AL vs LI.
I hadn't planned on doing it, but the AL's have disappointed me

Basically i was working on my motorcycle, and re-doing my setup.

Since i have the PLIII, i decided to test it with a single AL front and rear. The newer ones with the aluminum case, just a few months old.
i truly expected great performance for a motorcycle, but not even close.

the front was getting PT's from 650' range, along with the 400's and 200's.
    the rear was similar.
now the rear i was ready to give some leeway, since i knew the mount was kinda low for the "high shots", but at 600'+, it still should have done better.
The front though, no way. I even moved the AL up, almost to the height of my midsection, about 4-6" above the handlebars, and it still was inconsistent, with PT's from 450' to 200' and closer.

It didn't make sense, since the LE-30's i just took off, did as well and better, until the 5 second timer runs out, thus i wanted an unlimited timer, since i have a waterproof kill switch installed.
Note the AL's were in unlimited jam mode too.

Since anything less than JTG/JFG is unacceptable to me, and the LI's were awaiting install on the truck as my new backups, i decided to try them out.

the front one i even mounted lower, in a more inconspicuous area.
the rear one i mounted below the back AL.

    The front was JTG.
The rear was doing slightly better, but was still getting some of those PT's .
i moved the rear up about 6" to just behind my seat, where i thought of moving the AL to.
    it was JFG.
i did several more runs and they were all JTG/JFG.
The gun operator said it seemed much harder on the gun too.

Anyway, sorry no vids, but i can't do both.
once i train the gun operator to work a camera too, then you'll see some bike vids.

I guess this means i can do a head to head of AL vs LPP on the truck though.

Of course now is my dillema.
if i put the LI on the bike, then it won't be going on the truck, ... unless i get another set.

that and i'll have to work on making some type of adapter to get the alerts, since i don't want it talking loudly when i ride down the street.

but, since the X50 is getting replaced by a V1, i will have good laser detection so i could just turn down the volume

what to do, what to do.......................

Well, i just did hud night shots of dual LPP's against the PLIII.
once i get the vids done, i'll start a thread in the video section.

here's a hint. my unhappiness continues................for the front shots anyway.
The back, was an impressive JFG, though i did manage to pick it off rounding the corner....
    more to follow.............

RacerX thanks for continuing the testing I really think it benefits the whole community to test these jammers as much as possible.
