Adding a M-20 to my car

I'll be adding a M-20 Blinder to my car next weekend,
both heads upfront, closer to the center of the car than the green bars on the picture.

My car does have a license plate which is anything but flat --- located between the red bars.

(Living in the city, the license plate takes a lot of whacks from other parellal parkers, think of a crinkled piece of paper.)

Throw a Laser Shield on the plate, and I'd vote for the second option. Aside from the headlights, there aren't that many "flat" surfaces for laser to get a return from.
