If Go.Mouse is here he can tell you the price for a single LPP head. Personally I'm a fan of the LI (anywhere from $620-$700 based on US dollar value for 2 heads), but purchasing one in the US is a little difficult at the moment.

The other options are: AL G8, Blinder and the old ZR3.

What type of threats do you usually see? (If you don't know, then just let us know where you're located, so we can try to make a determination for you.)

What kind of vehicle do you drive?

And as for your current thinking - that you would like "some protection," but not $600's worth. Think of it this way, instead:

You spend $400 to buy "incomplete" protection - then you get a speeding ticket from an "unlikely scenario."

Your insurance rate skyrockets...and doesn't come down for years.

Was that $400 good money spent?

Or did it just cost you more, in the end?

    Exactly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Like when you are unfortuanate enough to get shot at point blank range in the face by a Statie using a Laser Atlanta. Anything less than a LI, LPP, or AL G8 would result in a ticket in that scenario. Gotta pay to play.
