FWIW, erikonphoenix 's ZR3 didn't alert to my simulated LA stealth mode, but did to normal mode. My X50 (M4, 6.1) alerted to both though, and so did the V1s

^ Thanks for the update, djrams.
^ Maybe the later (i.e. "current") Escort products alert to the LA Stealth Mode ?Originally Posted by ahmadr
Maybe the integration of the 9500i (or a similar, late-generation Escort product) somehow enables some sort of software/firmware "fix" that enables the integrated/linked ZR3 to detect LA Stealth Mode ?
Quite possible, since the RX65 alerts to stealth mode in Veil Guy's tests.Originally Posted by TSi+WRX
Very impractical, virtually impossible. However, I wouldn't be surprised if the 9500i does the detection by itself, and alerts as if the zr3 had detected it. Did you get to test your zr3 and 9500i separately?Originally Posted by TSi+WRX
anyone test LA stealth mode with the 9500i yet?
I got mine.........What a great little "Toy"......... 8)
It was great meeting Jammer, we actually had time for a Brew, I'm with Davekr now (God help Me........)
This thing rocks, I highly recommend it...........

The problem is that when I tested my integrated ZR3/9500i setup, I made SURE to only allow ONE HEAD (of any of my jammers) to see the output beam from the tester.
And that's what confused me - as the ZR3's individual heads were able to pick up the LA Stealth output.
I'll definitely revisit this the first chance I get, though.![]()
sweetness, sorry i lost the post cause it got stickied, and then just re-found it today, skimmed, and skimming=bad for finding actual information :P
^ No problem!Heck, I should know -> "READING > ALLEN" more than half the time.

Oh man, how embarrassing!!ops:
My apologies to All  No, my ZR3 will *not* alert to the LA Stealth Mode as simulated by this tester (and of-course, not in real-life, either!).
I think what had happened was that my detector somehow caught a reflection off my garage (or even house, or even my driveway markers - or it could even be the take-off parts from various of my previous and current cars) surfaces, and managed to alert, thus making me think that my ZR3 was alerting.
I'm now *CERTAIN* that the 9500i will alert to LA Stealth Mode, as-simulated.
However, just as certain, the ZR3 does *NOT*.
Furthermore, even if I elicited the 9500i to alert via this "LA Stealth Mode," the ZR3s will not trigger/fire in return. There's no jam (i.e. no "shifting") attempt.
Sorry for the confusion, everyone!ops:
What happens if 9500i receives LA stealthmode with ZR3 plugged in? will ZR3 then fire?Originally Posted by TSi+WRX
