I think what had happened was that my detector somehow caught a reflection off my garage (or even house, or even my driveway markers - or it could even be the take-off parts from various of my previous and current cars) surfaces, and managed to alert, thus making me think that my ZR3 was alerting.

I'm now *CERTAIN* that the 9500i will alert to LA Stealth Mode, as-simulated.

However, just as certain, the ZR3 does *NOT*.

Furthermore, even if I elicited the 9500i to alert via this "LA Stealth Mode," the ZR3s will not trigger/fire in return. There's no jam (i.e. no "shifting") attempt.

Sorry for the confusion, everyone! ops:
Good, I feel better now! You shouldn't be embarrassed at all! I was just about to check duty cycle in hex to see if that's maybe wrong. Now I don't need to do that!
    Thanks for your feedback!

Lucky - I don't think that the ZR3 fires ----> the 9500i never displays "Shifting," even though the 9500i clearly detected the Stealth Mode hit and warns of it via "LASER" alert display as well as voice warning.

I currently have some trouble getting outside, when it's dark, to utilize my cameraphone to visualize the jammers' output - but I will do so ASAP to confirm that the ZR3 are not firing. Still, my guess is that the ZR3 doesn't respond simply because it's not coded to.

You've gotta have more faith in yourself! The Stealth Mode properly reported on the LI, and I took that as proper confirmation that the pulsetrain matched.

My original surprise was in the framework of perhaps that the actual LASER output of the LA in Stealth Mode somehow was just ever so slightly different from the simulation offered by the IR-LED setup on the tester, thus allowing the ZR3 to pick up....

You were never suspect for any fault!

I just checked my tracking number. It said it arrived at my post office yesterday. A quick walk to my mailbox and there it was. Of course the post office had damaged the packaging and left there "we're sorry notice" on it. But no ill effects on the tester itself as it seems to be working.

Here's a video of the laser tester in action via my new always-on motion activated dashcam/DVR combo. I'll post pictures of my camera install later.
