Which Laser Jammer to buy?

Hi. I have read all the problems with the LI and would like to stay away from that brand.

Between the LPP, ZR3, the new ZR4 and the other laser jammers which kit should I buy that won't break the bank? (Is $600 a fair budget?)

ZR3 is pretty dated. ZR4 is..i'm told using the same LED technology but has improved it somewhat.

LPP is pretty solid. Its proven and alot of the initial problems with it seemed to have been ironed out. Only issues seem to be leaky water into the lens. (solved using silicon)

I think the list of ones to consider is pretty short.(in no particular order, and just my opinion)

LPP
AL
LI

I would look at not only tested performance, but also ease of ordering and customer service, before, during, and post sale, and also the overall conduct and actions of the company.

Consider the specific laser guns used in your area and how the unit works against them. Look at how each units head are shaped and the mounting options for your vehicle. Look at the feature set of each jammer, and also if integration is something you want to do, what is supported.

There's a good chance that the new ZR4 product could end up on this list after it's release and testing.

I agree with this. If the ZR4s end up performing well and are it least in the ballpark of the international brands, then all these international shipping issues go away. If the ZR4s suck, then you're back to LPP, LI and AL. A month from now, we should know for sure.

If buyers of the LPP, ZR3, & AL can post the important likes and dislikes of there setup, and the overall cost, it would greatly be appreciated.
I have to choose a unit rather quickly.

I'm not "The" expert but I have done a lot of searching on all of these jammers and just ordered a set of AntiLaser's.

From my understanding, the ZR3's are a tad bit dated. The AL's are up to date and ready to go with good reviews. Also, I'm pretty sure that the LPP's are basically the same as AL's. An off shoot if you will. Maybe even the same product with the name changed. Not 100% on that but they are very similar.

I picked AL because when I inquired via email, Vito replied within an hour. My order is supposed to be "in the mail" as we speak. We'll see how that goes.

I can only report on that so far. The specifications and videos look good for the AL's. I hope they work for me as good as in their videos.

My ZR3s got smoked by a point blank elevated rear laser shot a while back. I'm not sure if any jammers could have beaten this scenario, but I know mine failed.

good for you... unless you live in area where cops use trafipatroll XR... AL can jam it but not completly - it doesnt sound right when jammed, so operator can suspect somethings wrong... :twisted: :twisted:
