The funny part is that if these things really worked as they say they do, they would sell just fine via "word of mouth". Their website even says that this is the motivation behind the 1200 free LaserStar promotion. Well then, why the phony "word of mouth" and the fake newbie "word of mouth"? Surely tactics like these will lose them any potential customers, even if they did turn out to be the shiznit.

I wonder if this promotion is even real. Maybe they give out 2 or 3 per month and say that it was 100. Anything seems possible at this point after seeing their tactics first hand.

None of that what so ever. Well I have to head out and buy my GF a video camera because she was hit again (2nd time) by a bike cop about 500 feet and she was doing 40 in a 30 mph zone, again she only has a single laser star up front.

What is EMI? I did some testing into the sun and unlike the LI, the laser star did not give any of the false alerts while doing the jammer testing and it jammed to gun also driving into the sun.

Whats the EMI like on it all of their previous products suiffered horrendous EMI. Cant chance them again. If the defender2 was constatnntly falsingand had to switch it off, whhich is just as well as i don't fancy court.

I can verify that is not a lpp because the heads are different and the control box has a Laser Star engraved. I have the lpp on my car and it will stay on for good..I can tell you that.

Its easy for them to re-badge an LPP or make a proto look godd and when the product is sorted t/ shown to be working hey'll start shipping ****e to the consumer.Thats how drive-smart work. I seem to remember them telling me that no Jam Codes on the defender2 and then i show that it E07. I could have been arrested FFS..Thats something i dion't find too funny

Well I can confirm that is works and I am being straight up and this works. I have no problem saying something is a POS because I dont my testing name to be run through the mud. Btw do you have google talk or yahoo messenger?

I;m pretty sure Neil is very actively involved in this scheme.

No offence i wouldnt pay 2 bucks let alone 250 for anything they make.

after JTWs last video of the defender2 the one that was truely 'hollywood' in the scheme of things.... all BS.

Well I can testify that this works and works damn well and maybe even better then the lpp on my car. The detection is off the charts and yes the parking sensor really works from like a 5 feet away. I have a single head laser star on my girls honda accord that we used for testing with a dual head. I finished the more stealthier install of just 1 head upfront and just lowered the lic.plate to the jammer head flush and under the bumper. I did not have a chance to test that install since it was 1am. She was though hit with laser the next day from a state trooper on a overpass about 1000 feet and she was going about 75mph in a 60mph zone and jammed him for about 5-6 secs til she slowed down.

I also have no idea if neil has his hands in this laser star anymore but the guy I talk to has a different name and said he took over to make this a success but I did have my hands in the development and made this a working jammer. I found alot of issues that made this jammer not workable due to manafacturing and informed them how to fix it. There was several changes to make this detect lidar very well.

I deleted my youtube account and that deleted the video of the laser star but I did make another youtube account and posted that video and you more then welcome to re-post your comment that you posted.

Maybe if the company decide as a goodwill gesture to actually give the people they ripped a replacement jammer seen as the

1) Parking sensor never workeed
2) It didnt jam sh1t

I don't really give a toss about them as i have the best on my car. But myself and charliecharlescharles got no support / nothing off them. A company needs to back its product rather people pay for support.

He does have some good points about the LPP only having room for 2 sensors. I would love to see the Laser * work as advertised because it would save me alot of money, but I doubt this will be a reality.

I wish I had the money to purchase a Laser * and test it so we could end this debate
