I was willing and ready to swallow my pride and seek the help of a professional, but with the help of members from this forum and NAM's (mini cooper), it is possible. Just expect to spend a lot of time figuring simple things out like what tools to use and how to use them properly. You really need total addictive immersion into this hobby to persevere and triumph.
Otherwise, if you want an efficient and more realiable install and can't afford to get another LIDAR speeding ticket, seek professional help. Shouldn't cost too much especially if you factor in the cost of tools and random parts. I never knew what a Dremel was until I got one for my install. Although I'm happy and confident with my install, it has not been really tested. If my car goes into flames or something, I'll let you know.![]()
