Oh yeah. I know "Aligator Alley" my grandmother still lives in Boca Raton. I used to spend a lot more time down there, especially in the winter.
I'm sure it is "Lidar Alley" there now. Back in the day, my grandfather used to bribe the LEO's all of the time, but thos days are over. He died in 1988. In the seventies and early eighties I guess you could get away with stuff like that. He once got pulled over three times in one day and bribed himself out of each ticket. Too bad those days are over.
He would just open his wallet to give the officer his license. There would be a $100 bill there for the taking as well. A hundred dollars in 1975 would be like offering a LEO $500 to let you go. He was wealthy and could afford to do that.
If you tried that today you would quickly find yourself cuffed and stuffed..
