Wow that sucks that a guy that already had nothing to do with the test except lend the guns to the guys testing and just sit back and watch the jammers do work has to not be present at the test....Honestly I see no reason why Cliff can't be there as long as he stays away from the shooting of the gun which he has done in the past
This is the reason Cliff doesn't want to come... If need be just as Cbr suggested we can test and not post results. That way evryone present will know what our jammer performance is but no one can trash talk the results. I would be ok with that.Originally Posted by Rottman
At the second event, (Cliff wasn't there at the very first event)we lined up all the guns on tripods, and as owners of different cars drove back and forth, we each took a turn at shooting each car. (exept for the car each of us brought to the test, then the car's owner was behind the wheel, not a laser)
So if any one person were to do something "wrong" with the gun that same person was using, the rest of the testers and guns would get much different readings. It would get the attention of every other tester.
I don't remember who was shooting ELVATO's SUV when we discovered that the PLIII was getting huge PT's, but I do remember it getting everyone's attention.
We than passed the PLIII around and took turns shooting that one gun at his SUV, and we all got the same results.
And when we kept getting JTG and JFG with Cliff's LI car, we were using the same format but Cliff was in his car. (We also got JFG on the back of another car that only had LI's on the back, IIRC, and different testers were shooting with different guns then too)

I personally think its just Cliff people are bashing not "THE REP". I'm pretty sure Don from Cheetah will probably be at the GOL test. That doesn't mean he will influeance there test. Come on Cliff, You are part of the "TEAM"!!

I need to clear something up. I earlier posted we needed Cliff at the meet because of his Lidar guns...I in no way meant that was the only reason we needed him..He has a great knowledge of the use of Lidar guns and how Laser traps are set up because he encounters them often while driving in his line of work..Also the sabotaging of results I was talking about was read in several threads but I was not talking about Cliff in general but of all Reps that attend testing meets...Plus I was pm by mbrs that I will not name, that I should be watch out for Cliff. I will not mention names as it only causes more problems plus gives that person there 5 minutes of fame!! Sorry for any misunderstandings from previous post.

It's strange but sometimes common. When there is some testing going on and a certain product excels with a rep around, people start to find fault. Isn't this the same crap when GOL tested the LI before? A lot of questions where raised regarding who shot the lidar, was Ivan involve, 2 diodes where use in one receiver and blah blah blah?
I believe that the more groups testing and sharing results is much better because they come in different set ups. Although I prefer using 1 test vehicle, I also believe that it is good to have different set ups in different vehicles and see how they work. Stealth depends on a couple of factors like color, shape and LJ being used and not just the LJ.
We can take the results in face value or use CFL's results and compare it with other test results in the future. Unfortunately a lot of members don't have a lidar gun to test with and depend solely with what's being tested by certain groups with their results posted.
I'd say, keep it going guys [Team CFL] and share your results whether Cliff is present or not. You guys are doing just fine. The more test, the better. [replacer_img]
With great power comes great responsibility... Bottom line this industry is all about someone getting paid, and if X product is beating Y product then you better believe all gloves will come off.
Just keep it real, have a blast, and forget the naysayers. You'll never please anyone.
