Jamming Cruise Control

I am just curious, what happens if you have a rear laser jammer (lets just say an LI) and you get shot with cruise control laser (lets say from an Infinity)?

Does the LI actually jam their cruise control? and if so, what happens? Does it shutoff? Does it still work? Does the person talking on the phone, eating a cheeseburger rearend you because the cruise control doesnt see you there?
