    Default jammers+gf's car+driver=not knowing.

alright, so my girlfriends doesnt mind me getting her a radar. but laser jammers are a no go for her. we will be living in dallas. i wouldnt even think about radar or jammers if i didnt drive her car all the time. and i mean all the time. so ive included a picture of what the front of her car looks like. although hers is black. no front plate for now, maybe later. and she does have fog lights. i think a m25 would be good. input? and btw this is going to be one bada$$ stealth install since she wont even know she has em.

And M25 will not bring the best performance especially if you try to install it in a stealth manner

Though I personally would wait until you can get your hands on an offical m27 if the price is the same as the current m25

Edit I use to frequently trade cars with my father for the winter months as I needed 4x4 during the winter months so I would just turn the jammer switch off and he would never turn it on.

Somewhat hide the power switch and you'll be golden. My gf rarely notices any new switches or gadges when I add them to my car

I have a minor suggestion for you based on my own experience.

My Wife had a 9500i/Blinder on her Pilot and has a Gx65/Zr3 on her Miata. After a few months of driving with her I noticed she really did not keep track of what was Laser and what was Radar.

At times she never shut the jammer off and I know she must have jammed to gun on a few ocassions. I put an M-20 on her Pilot and at least thought there would be Punch-thrus if she did not shut it off, but the Zr3s on such a small car as a miata is pretty much JTG. A few weeks ago after she got home from work she tells me that the Zr3s start alerting and then stay alerting for a good 45 secs. She said she drove past the Leo and he looked a bit pissed and "pointed the thing at her from behind" . I asked her what she did and she said I did what you told me - I hit the mute button once after I slowed- I was like WTF - 2X please.

So we took 1/2 hour out of a saturday and I shot her car with the LA and we practiced turing off the jammers after slowing. Think she understands now.
On the Pilot I put a Dual LPP and set the timer for 4 secs.

Moral of the story - If you are going to put a jammer on the car unbeknownst to her then please make sure you shut it off every time you get out of the car or get a timed jammer - Does the new Blinder have a timed jam setting?.

You would not want her pulled over because she JTG.

Maybe build a circuit such that the jammers don't turn on unless you press a hidden button after starting the car. Shut the car off, the jammers go off until you hit the button again. You can do this with a momentary push-button and a relay. Wire the relay so the contacts also energize the coil so the relay latches on after the button is pressed.

That would avoid accidental JTGs by the GF, but of course you'll have to remember to hit the button yourself so you don't go defenseless.

The new Blinder will have a timed jam setting, according to Blinder-Guy.

Just throw a 9500ci and some blinders in there and keep them on the same kill switch, tell her they're laser 'receivers'

If you do not want her to know it is there then wait for the M27 so you can set it to timed jam and that way she will not have to turn it off and worry about JTG. Also if she ever catches on you can flip the switch to parking sensor mode and tell her it is parking sensor and it will not react to Laser at all until the switch is flipped back to jam mode. It will only beep like a parking sensor.

Even with timed jamming, that ungodly squealing is still going to let her know that something weird is in her car, and she's going to start asking questions. Unless she''s a complete idiot, she's going to figure this out, unless you leave the thing off when you're not driving it yourself. And even then, if you use it when you're driving with her in the car, she's going to know. There really is no good way to pull this off.
