Speed-dreams and I also plan on doing a test involving the cruise control system of an Infiniti FX35. Can anyone get their hands on one for one day?

It'd be rather hard to get one...

Well it's not like we have to spend any money on guns. I bet a dozen guys could chip in to rent an Infinity for just a few bucks a head. Although, I'm not sure what we would prove with this experiment that we don't already know.

I want to run (maybe get it on video too) a LED jammer being shot simultaneously by the cruise control and a lidar gun and see if the gun gets an instant PT. I know there is a slim chance of this happening in the real world but I just want to see if a laser false during a police laser encounter could be a weakness for LED jammers.

Why on earth would it only apply to LED jammers?

I assumed diode jammers could handle more than one laser source since they are stronger than LED jammers. If I remember correctly, GOL did a test with the LI against three or more lidar guns and I think only one gun got a PT under 200 ft.

Well, I signed up for the forum, posted once, and found a thread right away for a Houston Jammer Meet. What great luck.

Not sure if I'll actually make it to said meet, although if a bunch of you pros are around, and I haven't had in install done yet, mining you guys for tips, etc... may be well worth it.

I'd like the details for the meet if that's cool. I can't PM anyone directly yet, since this is only my second post.

Also, I'd like any recommendations people have here for installations in Houston. I assume there's got to be a few shops that have been 'vetted' by the forum members.

Glad I found this place before I installed!

It'd actually be good for you to make the meet before getting your set-up installed so you can be sure the installers know what they are doing. Too many installers make it pretty, yet don't know the first thing about making it functional, and they screw it up. You'll probably also see that you'll want something a lot better than ZR4s, lol. Be sure to keep checking back. We won't send out details until probably the day before.
