I added as much information that I would like to at this time. Some of those present at the test wish that there be no photos of their vehicle publicly released. Being as I would like to test again with everyone that was present I will not release any more information. If they want to give more details that is their prerogative

Just to add to the data above and answer a few questions:
The PL3's battery packs died prematurely. I got a good chuckle out of seeing the display scream help. The Ultralyte and TruSpeed were not tripod mounted. Lost my screws for the Ultralyte mount that I had. But the guns were stabilized with the tripods.

Here's the rear shot of Sonny03106's car. The second rear head will be reinstalled soon.

While I maintain that the low mounting is the primary culprit, that can be overcome with a commitment to lowering your peripheral signature.
If it was Low mounting that the Covette and A8 would have had the same results

Corvette has a major stealth signature, A8 was extremely covered with passove measures
The receiving sensor on the A8 is positioned 5"-8" higher than the that of the other vehicles. My guess is it never totally disappeared from view once the car was somewhat blocked by the road at the 2000ft point. Plus his passive countermeasures may have helped out significantly.

If we would have performed separate runs for CM, DHL, and PHL, besides being out there all day, I have no doubt that the Vette would have suffered several 2000ft PTs/NDs.

Overall, I am pleased with the performance observed from all of the jammers.

you guys all attack me when I defend Veil but the truth of the matter is Veil rocks and every jammer NEEDS Veil! Rob you are dismissed with those nasty PT's! You are nowhere near the stealth league that I am in. Guys MAXIMIZE you passive countermeasure arsenal!

Your writing looks like foot paintings. You know, when you step in the paint barefoot and then step on a clean piece of paper. They say poor penmanship is a sign of genius. We know what you can do with a steering wheel and 3 pedals, but how will you solve the Global Warming crisis....

    On topic:
Its been said before but after using it myself, I must say that the Truspeed really feels like a toy in comparison to the other guns available. It's unbelievable. Probably the Glock19 of lidar guns. Easy to shoot and quite forgiving.

I have to agree with crazyVOLVOrob on this one. I had nasty 2000ft PTs like that. Once I reduced the reflectivity of my car(Veil, CR8APL8, etc), they completely went away. happya$$ is right when he talks about Veil. I think the general perception on this forum is that it's not needed with top-notch jammers like the LIs. Veil helps every jammer, period and I think we'd be well advised to couple Veil with every jammer. I realize that some here don't like the look of Veil, or what it does to headlight output, but it sure is helpful.

The TruSpeed is my favorite gun. Super easy to shoot and instant readings. Now, if I'm trying to beat a jammer, I'll use my PLII.

From what I've seen today, as long as it's airbrushed or professionally painted on, it would go totally unnoticed. I didn't realize that it was on one vehicle we tested today. I'd bet a LI dual that no cop would notice it either.

When was this test? With a fresh install of an LI dual that needs to be tested I would have liked to join.
