    Default LPP recieving sensor

So I picked up a dual LPP a couple weeks back for cheap and will be installing it on the rear of my suv for some extra protection my issue is no really good mounting points except on the outer edges of the bumper so how do I go about finding the sensor so I can face them inwards?

use your cellphone and look at them when it fires in parking mode... the receiver is oposite to the transmitter

I gotta say that is one of the more surprising vehicles I've seen posted here. They way you talk about hot, nasty, bad-ass speed, I figured you'd be driving muscle, or at least a ricer. I have more respect for you now!

Are those LPP heads really as deep as they look? How the hell could you mount those things anywhere? Most cars don't have a space that deep on their rear end. As awkward as it looks, the place you have chosen may be your only option. I think it'll work well there. A Veiled Laser Shield should fortify the center mass enough to give you safety. The overhang over the plate would be better, but it really doesn't look like those heads would fit in there without sticking way out.

ya the heads are very deep that is why I can't mount near the plate I am about to purchase a laser sheild. I did for awhile drive a 1970 442 with a 455 I miss it every day but wasnt practical for what I do.

That Olds 442 was new when I was in high school, and it was the hottest car around! There were only a couple of kids driving them, including the daughter of the local Olds dealership owner, and they were the envy of the school!

Ok just finished veiling the reflectors and taillights the TL's didn't come out great but what ever. My question is now my Laser Shield will arrive tomorrow and I know rough surface should face out but should I veil it also and if so which side should I put the veil on?

Not really sure, though I will say, I'm not sure how much protection those LPP heads will give with close plate shots. Granted, as you said, that's "as good as it's going to get" so you don't have much of a choice...
