hey rd.net, i took a 4 hour road trip yesterday and jackson, ms is the nearest town that has laser. i usually go about 85 but slowed down to 75 since the PSL was 70 to test out my le-10 bc i only have 1 jammer placed in the front. upon entering the outskirts of jackson on I-20E my le-10 went off so i slowed down a bit but couldnt spot where it was coming from, same thing happened when i was leaving on highway-49S . has anyone else been tagged on these 2 roads? could it have been a unmanned stationary unit that was tagging people perpendicular to the road?

There are no unmanned laser gun speed traps in the US. Didntheae alerts occur near or around an overpass?

If you didn't spot the LEO shooting a laser gun, chances are it was a false alert.

    Look for this next time:

They are NOTORIOUS for causing laser jammers to false and are one of the most hated vehicles on this forum

That another issue with the LE-10 it likely has much more rudimentary software in it: thus probably would false (even more than many current jammers do) to such things.

Smart jamming > brute force jamming.

The only benefit to more power is if you're protecting something like a Hummer or a semi.

Smart jammers minimize jam codes on guns and use different jamming patterns for different guns. The actual jamming beam doesn't need to be super powerful.

The only weakness of smart jammers is detection - they have to see the gun's pulses to jam them. This is why head placement is so critical, not so much for the jamming beam as for detecting the gun in the first place.
