The guy in the vid is a dumb@ss. I often give LEOs a little "hands on the wheel wave" especially if they are rolling towards me.

I'm in the south so waving at other drivers isn't that unheard of. A lot of times it's obvious to the LEO that I've reduced my speed just before he tagged me with I/O and it's just indicating that Yes sir, I see you and I'll take it easy."

It's not that unusual for cops to give drivers a "slow down" gesture down here, and a little wave is like "yes sir"...

But yea, a big happy wave is pretty stupid.

That's the video I was referring to but did not want to post. We don't need anyone doing the same. If that ass lived near me, I'll take his LI so I can have a quad setup.

One time I rolled through a stop sign on a country road because there were no cars nearby. Well, there was one far away, which turned out to be a fully marked PSP cruiser (doh!); I just gave him a friendly wave, he reciprocated, and we both got on with our lives. But that was sort of a, "sorry, I know that was stupid" wave, not a "NEENER NEENER NEENER, YOOOOU CAN'T CAAATCH ME" statement - that's sure to piss them off.

OP, are you just trying to avoid tickets, or make a statement and piss the cops off? Think about that hard, especially if you're considering doing these antics close to where you live. Do you really want a reputation as "that guy that always jams us and acts cocky about it"?

I'm surprised anyone even has to ask this.

    Funny....

    I can imagine this...

He was thinking as he waived: "they're fooling themselves, jammers don't work and I'm going to nail one of them."

The testers were thinking as they waived: "we know better."

Too lazy to read through any of the posts, but my answer to the OP, is yes. That is assuming I wanted a ticket, attention, jail time, etc.... If your female or of that other persuasion it's also a great way to meet troopers

I find that video pretty amusing, although I'm in agreement with our crew, that's not a good idea....

I would find it funny if it wasn't 10 miles down the road from me.
That was the highway patrol and if anybody has a connection in Jefferson City(capitol) its them.
